The rangers were demarkating the beacons for the plots for the conservancy when they came across a pack of 5 wild dogs lying under shade. The pack which usually comprises 16 wild dogs has been away for over a week now and we suspected that they were on their way into the consevancy where they have a den. The fact that the whole pack was not seen meant that the rest of the pack must have been nearby. We will monitor their movement and hope to see them around the camp.
