As we drove to Talek River, about 100m away, I saw a lioness in the long grass on Posee plains. I thought she was just one until we moved closer and realized that the whole Talek pride were all there. They were all scattered in the plains, some sitting together while others moving along in the long grass. The lionesses who were a head of the pride moved carefully and thats when I realized they were on a hunt. They had seen a warthog and were stalking her. They camouflaged so well in the grass, you could barely see them. However, the warthog noticed them and ran away for her dear life! The pride instead decided to look for a shaded croton bush to rest for the day as the sun was already getting hot. Another unsuccessful hunt.
