Drawing on over 100 years of experience of African off-road driving, our team of professionals have created a state of the art vehicle, adapted for game drives. Every possible attention to detail has taken into account, with particular emphasis on comfort and safety. These vechicules have been designed and built locally together with Toyota Kenya and AVA, and we believe we have managed to produce the best 4X4 safari vehicles in the Mara. Our prime objective is to get you as close to the action as possible, but remaining totally safe. This is why we adopted the unique open plan style Toyota HD model.
Each vehicle is fitted with a spotter seat for an unhindered vantage point for our Masai spotter and is only used in our conservancy. The vehicle can be configured to a maximum of nine possible seats, however we have a policy of a maximum of six guests to a vehicle to ensure comfort and to maximise the photographic possibilities. In the case of that family groups, then if requested this can be increased to eight for a short game drive or seven for a full day game drive. Each bucket seat is covered in canvas and leather for comfort with storage pockets and arm rests.
For your safety your 4X4 is fitted with a VHF radio, spare tyres, an electric winch and extra high lift jack and spades for muddy terrain. All our game vehicles are less than 2 years old and are maintained to the highest standard.
Every thought has been given to improve the game drive experience and every vehicle possesses a selecetion of reference wildlife books, binoculars and camera charging points in case your battery runs low during the day. An assortment of chilled beverages are also available on board from Tusker, the famous Kenyan beer, to a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. A full assortment of food to cater for all tastes is served from the special buffet table mounted on the side of the vehicle. A truly memorable experience parked under the shade of an acacia tree.
Other items provided by your Field Guide during game drives are fleece blankets and hot water bottles, to keep off the cold during the chilly Mara mornings.
